FROSTBITE EXTREME PAD

Frostbite Extreme Pads come in 120x20mm (4-pack) and 70x20mm mix-thickness formats - designed specifically for laptop VRAM rows, M.2 NVMe SSD heatsinks, GPU memory module contacts, and any application where a narrow strip pad is needed. They're not a sheet pad: the strip format fits directly onto most laptop and GPU component layouts without cutting.

Measure the gap between the component and heatsink with a feeler gauge or caliper. For laptop VRAM and SSD heatsinks: 0.5–1.0mm is most common. For thicker GPU heatsink contacts or M.2 drive bays with extra clearance: 1.0–1.5mm. The 70x20mm mix pack includes 0.5mm, 1.0mm, and 1.5mm options so you can cover multiple thicknesses in one purchase.

Yes. Frostbite Extreme Pads are soft and easy to trim with scissors or a craft knife. The 120x20mm strips can be shortened to cover individual memory chips. The 70x20mm strips are already sized for common laptop memory configurations and usually fit without cutting.

Strip pads are not laptop-model-specific - they're cut-to-fit. As long as you choose the correct thickness for your gap, they'll work with any laptop, GPU, or electronics application. If unsure about the gap size, 1.0mm is a safe starting point for most laptop VRAM replacements.

Yes. Frostbite Extreme Pad is fully electrically insulating (7 KV/mm per ASTM D149) and not electrically conductive. Safe to place directly over VRAM chips, SMD components, and PCB traces without risk of short circuits.
