Measure the gap between your component and heatsink with a feeler gauge or caliper. Choose a thickness that matches or slightly exceeds (0.1–0.2mm) that gap. For GPU VRAM: 1.0–1.5mm is typical. For M.2 NVMe heatsinks: 0.5–1.0mm. For console VRAM and power delivery components: 1.0–2.0mm. When in doubt, go slightly thicker - the pad compresses under mounting pressure.

Yes - thermal pads are universal and platform-independent. Common applications: GPU VRAM cooling (replacing stock pads), M.2 NVMe heatsinks, console memory chip cooling (PS4/5 GDDR chips, Xbox Series memory modules), laptop VRM and VRAM strips, custom PC builds. Available in both 80x40mm and 120x20mm formats to cover most component sizes.

Fusion Ultra Pad is available as Pad Only in an eco-friendly paper pack with a protective liner. This is ideal if you already own cleaning supplies or are replacing multiple pads at once. For a complete cleaning and application kit, pair it with a Fusion Cleaner Kit or Frostbite Cleaner Mini.

Yes. Fusion Ultra Pads are soft and easy to cut with scissors or a craft knife. The 80x40mm size trims well for GPU VRAM chips, VRM cooling blocks, or any custom shape. The 120x20mm strip format is designed for VRAM banks, memory module contacts, and heatsink fin arrays.

Thermal pads are generally single-use. Once compressed and cycled through heat, they conform to the surface and are difficult to remove without tearing. We recommend replacing the pad each time you disassemble a component for optimal thermal performance.

Yes. Fusion Ultra Pad is fully electrically insulating (9.0 KV/mm per ASTM D149) and not electrically conductive. It is completely safe to use near SMD components, PCB traces, and memory chips without risk of short circuits.
